WHAT IS THE GLENTIES TOWN CENTRE FIRST PLAN?

The Glenties Town Centre First Plan is a regeneration & renewal focused Masterplan aimed at strengthening the role, image, vibrancy, vitality and resilience of Glenties town centre.

The Plan will provide for the convergence of community vision, business interests, local knowledge, key Stakeholder and Local Authority expertise in co-designing a roadmap for the regeneration and future development of Glenties.

WHO’S INVOLVED ?

The Town Centre First Plan is led by Donegal County Council, in collaboration with the Glenties Town Team and the Elected Members of the Glenties Municipal District
The Plan is prepared by GM Design Associates
This project is funded through the Town and Village Renewal Fund programme and the Town Centre First Masterplan Initiative implemented by the Department of Rural and Community Development as a part of Our Rural Future

GET INVOLVED

It is important that the Plan is created by and for the local community. Also it is an opportunity to help shape the future of the town centre in a positive manner.
